What is the Best Party Island in Croatia?

Croatia is a well-known destination for partygoers, and there are as much as a 1000 islands on the Croatian coast. It’s nearly impossible to state which island is more beautiful, and which hosts the parties that are 100% worth your time. What is the best party island in Croatia? While each island has plenty to offer, it’s a good idea to choose your destination according to your party style.

Pag island

Pag is Croatia’s top spot for summer beach parties and festivals. Whoever is important in the electronic music scene in the last decade has already played on one of Pag Island’s festivals and clubs. The Hideout Festival, Fresh Island Festival,  Sonus FestivalLove Week Festival, Black Sheep Festival showcased world renown artists summer after summer. Then there are the clubs, too; Papaya, Euphoria, and Aquarius are considered to be among the top three.

Zrće Beach

Zrće beach is the party trademark of Pag island. Also, it is the most frequented place for local and international partygoers alike in Croatia. Hence why it might come as a surprise that alongside partygoers, plenty of families also claim their share under the sun of Pag island. If that doesn’t bother you – you’re going to like partying on Pag island.

Hvar island

The sunny island of Hvar, as it’s nicknamed, is another hyped party destination on the Croatia’s coast. Historically, Hvar has always attracted the rich and famous.  The popularity of this island among the young has increased over the past few years due to all the great bars and summer clubs. Clubs Carpe Diem, Hula Hula Hvar, Pink Champagne aren’t short of summer thrills and you’ll soon realise you’ve found yourself in some of the best bars and clubs on this side of the Adriatic. The downside is the price. Hvar is very upmarket so if you’re short on budget, you’ll be better off with Pag.

Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous

The Ultra Music Festival, one of the most popular electronic festivals, is marking its 5th year in mainland Split’s Arena in Europe this year. Hvar Island hosts the official after parties and we’ll visit them during Yacht Week Croatia. Finally, if Beyonce, Tom Cruise and Bono thought Hvar was hella cool, you probably will so, too.

Brač Island

The Island of Brac is the third largest island in the Adriatic Sea and it’s situated between Split and the Island of Hvar. This party island is popular among the young people for several reasons: Bol, the southern part of the Brac island, has one of the most beautiful beaches in Croatia, Zlatni rat beach. Bol itself is a very popular tourist destination, and there is a range of cafes, pubs, and clubs as well as all-night beach parties.

Obonjan Island

Obonjan island is the hottest island in Croatia right now. By hottest, we mean the most hyped about. Unlike other islands that cater to young travelers, Obonjan focuses on green living, wellbeing, yoga and creative workshops. While opportunities to party wild abound, that’s not the only thing you can do on this island. Obonjan brings us what one might call sustainable partying, moving away from an image that fun should be dangerous. Could this be the future of partying as it is today?Obonjan’s coolness factor is further strengthened by a myriad of young cutting-edge designers from London who showcase their work on the island.

Rab island

Laid back and not as loud as the other islands, Rab is great for the quieter guests. Rab island is the right place for those who seek relaxation and fun, but don’t want the parties to dominate their holidays. In this 22 kilometers long island, look for Pudarica beach, two kilometers from the place Barbat. This pebble beach is the ideal destination for families with children during the day. As the night approaches, the beach turns into a party hub. For some ordinary summer club action, San Antonio club will deliver your dosage of summer tunes and skimpy clothes dancing as a proper summer island club should.
