Our yachts vary in size and shape and can fit anywhere from 6 up to 12 people in 3 to 5 cabins. This is an example diagram of our 5 cabin yacht for 12 and it includes a fitted kitchen with an oven, mini fridge (stocked by you to your heart’s content), double cabins, bathroom with a shower and a comfy common room that also provides a fold out single or double bed. We’re sure though that most of your time you’ll be spending top side chillaxing on the deck!
As a rule of thumb, 10 people can rent a yacht with 4 double bed rooms since the common area has usually a fold out bed for 2, but as most people can’t sail themselves this space is usually reserved for the skipper and hostess. Keep this formula in mind when putting together a crew and selecting your yacht.
Yachts have bathrooms with showers, but showering off the back of the boat is certainly much more fun in the summer. The toilets are usually pump action, but the more luxurious models have your standard flush toilet.
If you’ve ever been on a boat or a yacht, you know space is used to maximum effect so a standard yacht will have a kitchen and a dining table in the common area, which folds out into a bed.
You have to have one if none of your crew have a skipper licence and its certainly advisable if you are to experience a carefree vacation and the best of Croatia’s Adriatic Sea.
We highly recommend having someone to keep your common areas tidy and helping with the cooking, cleaning, shopping and managing the daily itinerary. You can only add a hostess if you have a Sailing.hr skipper on board.
